As a senior expert in the Americas DXP Adobe practice, the architect is required to support the delivery teams during the general design of their solutions, spearheading technical delivery of innovative DXP projects that meet Valtech's technological standards.

What you will do:
- Devise intricate architectures to deliver integrated web experiences for our clients.
- Partner closely with our project managers, business analysts, and product managers to fulfill our client's business requirements and maximize business value.
- Collaborate with creative teams to bring unique and inspiring experiences to life, while ensuring high performance, applying platform standards, and keeping implementation maintainable.
- Stay up to date with the latest innovations in the Adobe Experience Cloud and especially AEM, identifying areas of new opportunity for our clients.
- Act as a trusted adviser to our clients, bringing thought leadership, and helping inform their technical roadmap.
- Consult across a holistic enterprise architecture and marketing stack, in which Adobe gets implemented.
- Evangelize best practices through the wider network of Valtech's Adobe community.
- Occasionally code, assisting lead developers with POCs and challenging implementations.
- Assist with top-down or bottom-up project estimations.
- Act as SME on opportunities sourced by the Business Development team.
- Provide guidance and oversight for projects, identifying and addressing technical issues as they arise.
What you should have:
- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment including effective collaboration with other disciplines such as UX/ Visual design, content and digital strategy, UI, etc.
- Track record of at least four years architecting and delivering large-scale implementations of AEM.
- Hands-on experience with recent versions of AEM including AEM Cloud Service.
- Experience integrating commerce and product data on AEM websites.
- Experience delivering complex integrations with 3rd party systems such as ERP, CRM, and DAM, preferably through cloud-native architectures.
- Experience combining modern frontend stacks including ReactJS, with AEM as headless CMS.
- Experience in unit and performance testing, both in methodology and tooling.
- Experience connecting teams across countries and cultures.
- Presales and pitch experience.
- Familiar with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Edge Delivery Services.
- Adobe I/O Runtime and AppBuilder.
