We are urgently hiring a Shipping Clerk to join our team! Our client has been serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Space industry over 60 years, with parts on almost all aircraft for planes, helicopters and spacecrafts.ResponsibilitiesShips packages via vendors such as UPS, FedEx, etc. Through vendor software/portals per customer instructions and directions Prioritizes and processes orders from Certs department; verifies documentation is complete and places orders in the proper area for shipping via Hytek truck or common carrierScans travelers, certifications, and shipping documentation into the Syteline ERP systemCreates Bill of Lading, commercial invoices, and export documentation as requiredCompletes international shipments through export compliance software; works with Customer Service, Trade Compliance, and Packaging Department To ensure compliance with Trade ComplianceAssist will Call Customers including loading trucks as required, serve as a backup Route Driver to support deliveries as requiredLegibly sign off on work once completedOperate Forklift as requiredQualificationsMust be a self-starter, able to work both independently, as a team, and with customers (both internally and externally)Excellent accuracy with a strong attention to detailAbility to Read/Write Communicate in English with Customers and auditorsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. An export license will be required to work in all areas of the facilityMUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECKING AND DRUG TEST
