Job Description:
- The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards
- The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5.
- The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.
- Prior experience with:
- Mechanical Skills: (MCH - MACHINING,GEN MECHANICAL)
- Special Process Skills: (CHM - CHEMICAL,WLD - WELDING,PLT - PLATING)
- Supply Chain Management Skills: (FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION)
Scope of Work: ​Inspect IAW drawing and purchase order requirements paying attention to industry standards, First Article Inspection Report documentation verification and sign when required
Specification Knowledge Selected: MIL-STD
Note:
- Part-Time activity; estimated of 10 hours weekly; 4 hour every visit
- Location: Multiple Suppliers in South Bend IN and Jenison MI
- It is a W-2 Contract: Indefinite as needed.
