Aspen River Park (261 units) is a beautiful Tax Credit apartment community in Newark, NJ and we want YOU to be our Assistant Community Manager!To thrive in this role:
  • Interact with current and prospective residents
  • Fosters a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, communities and associated agencies
  • Assist in all aspects of leasing including, but not limited to; touring, accepting, and processing applications, phones, call backs and thank you cards
  • Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company procedures
  • Conduct unit inspections
  • Maintain the safety and security of the apartment community at all times
  • Complete daily reports
  • All other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Verify and Test income and asset verification of tenant files for applicable housing programs (HUD and Tax Credit) for all Move-Ins, Interims and Annual Re-certifications
  • Review, provide written responses, and process household file applications for rental assistance and affordable housing programs within the compliance department
Qualifications:
  • Yardi Voyager experience a MUST
  • Tax-credit property management experience a MUST
  • Bilingual is a PLUS
  • Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to details, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Works patiently, professionally and cooperatively with residents, providing exceptional customer service
  • Preserves and respects resident and applicant confidentiality
