Role: Aftermarket Counter Salesperson

As an Aftermarket Counter Salesperson, you ll be responsible for selling HVAC parts, equipment and supplies in the Parts store and over the phone. You will be our expert on all warranty administration, quotes and orders for customers, inventory and account set up. You will work together with our excellent team of Parts employees to meet customer expectations and deliver high-quality results. You will also partner with the Sales department to address customer issues and the Accounting department for setting up accounts and credit card payment processing.

This role is based out of our NYC Warehouse in Long Island City.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead selling HVAC parts, equipment and supplies.

Set up quotes for customer pricing.

Receive and process customer orders.

Answers customer calls and identifies parts.

Arrange part delivery to customer sites or job locations.

Assist with daily cycle counts.

Load and unload shipments of equipment, parts and supplies while following all company safety protocols.

Requirements:

Comfortable working in adverse climate conditions. This job operates in a warehouse environment that can include outside elements such as inclement weather, heat and humidity.

Must be able to move objects such as carts, dollies, hand trucks and other gear to move items around that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to communicate with customers and coworkers frequently and accurately.

This position is largely stationary and the person in this position needs to be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, regularly ascending and descending stairs and/or ladders to move about the warehouse and reach equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft office programs is required.

Must be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
