Job Description:

A leading family-owned and operated aggregate services contractor in Minnesota, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional Project Manager. This hybrid role requires a versatile individual with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, project budgeting, and operational oversight to effectively manage projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage multiple aggregate construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide status updates and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring work is being completed in compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and lead field personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators, ensuring productivity and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor safety procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols across all job sites.
  • Perform regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential issues, and address them proactively.
  • Ensure proper equipment and materials are available and delivered to the job site on schedule.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or aggregate services industry, with experience in project management, estimating, and field supervision.
  • Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of project management software, estimating tools, and construction safety regulations.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and field teams effectively.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management, safety, or estimating are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with aggregate production and services.
  • Experience working with family-owned businesses.
