Duties and Responsibilities Teach Agriculture lectures and/or labs. This may include courses in Animal Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, Crop Science, and Ag Economics.Assist full-time faculty with lab setup (if needed)Required and Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in an Agricultural Field, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in agriculture courses.Qualifying fields include: Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agroforestry, Animal Science, Agricultural Education, Horticulture, Botany & Plant Pathology, Agricultural Economics, Forestry, Natural Resources and Environmental Science, Plant Science, and Turf Science.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of topics related to assigned courses.Ability to work with a variety of learning styles and skill levels.Ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and administration.While part-time employees are not eligible for the University's benefit plan, there are certain required taxes that will be deducted from part-time employees' pay in order for the University to remain compliant with state and federal laws.
