The School of Agriculture and Biological Sciences at the University of Mount Olive seeks applicants for adjunct/part-time faculty positions in Agriculture Mechanics.The candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching courses in their specific area of expertise, which will be delivered online, hybrid, or seated. Online studies with hands-on laboratory experiences will be conducted through the Moodle platform. Candidates with classroom experience and experience in distance education delivery methods are preferred.Educational Requirements Master degree or higher requiredThe candidate should have a valid Agriculture degree in their teaching field. Experience in Ag Mechanics is preferred, including welding/metal fabrication, carpentry/woodworking, small engines, electricity, plumbing, hand tools & their usage.The candidate should be able to design student projects and teach the skills necessary to complete the tasks.The candidate will be responsible for the procurement & handling of supplies necessary to complete all student projects.Review of the applications will begin immediately and continue until positions are filled.To apply:Submit a cover letter, resume, teaching philosophy, list of three references, and undergraduate and graduate transcripts.
