AI and ML Engineer, SeniorThe Opportunity:As an experienced engineer, you know that machine learning (ML) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques makes you an integral part of delivering acustomer-focused solution. We need your technical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support critical defense missions. As an optical character recognition (OCR) and natural language processing (NLP) ML engineer on our Chief Technology Office team, you'll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.In this role, you'll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You'll be part of a large community of machine learning engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world-class solutions to the special operations community. Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have: 5+ years of experience with ML engineering, data science, research engineering, software engineering, development, or full stack engineering, including in an academic or professional environmentExperience with object-oriented programming in Java, C++, or PythonExperience with developing software architecture with containerization tools, including Docker or KubernetesExperience with the Army Data Platform or Army VantageExperience with databases, including SQLKnowledge of DoD and IC domain and artificial intelligence principles and practicesKnowledge of data science fundamentals and methodsTS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Nice If You Have: Experience developing and deploying machine learning models into production within DoD enclavesExperience with training models in Databricks with MLflowExperience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, or Node.jsExperience with Extract, Transform, and Load tools, data warehousing, and data pipeline developmentExperience with PostgreSQLExperience with pandas or GeoPandasExperience with visualization tools, including Tableau, Anaconda, or R StudioAbility to deploy production application to a Cloud environment, including Google Cloud or Amazon Web ServicesMaster's degree Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
