In this role, you will:
- Design, solution and scale cloud AI services
- Design and develop cloud-based data architecture that facilitate efficient data processing and storage while ensuring resilience and durability.
- Create and maintain efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate and prepare data from diverse sources for AI and analytics.
- Continuously monitor, assess, and optimize data and AI solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
- Ensure that all solutions comply with industry regulations and best practices for data security and privacy.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, workflows, and AI model deployment processes.
- Support the design, deployment, and solutioning of AI cloud services - in alignment with ITIL practices and the service delivery framework
- Partner closely with end-customers during the discovery, design, and onboarding stages of new workload engagements.
- Stay up to date on emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
- Demonstrate customer-centric behavior and consistently advocate on behalf of customers through informal service reviews and formal service-level customer advisory boards.
- Mentor more junior technologists through coaching, knowledge sharing, and authoring documentation such as ADRs and Standard Work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experienced with cloud computing and enabling services in the cloud (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Experienced with modern enterprise analytic architectures and the tradeoffs that go along with each model.
- Experienced data management key concepts such as data quality, data protection, data governance, data lineage, and metadata management.
- Understands the method of translating business needs into technical requirements
- Understands cloud security principles like access management, encryption, and least-privilege design practice
- Experienced with the concept of technical tradeoffs - including cost, availability, and performance
- Experienced with deploying solutions at scale and building reliable data services.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
- Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
- Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership
- Apply values, policies, procedures and precedents to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice.
- React open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas. Consider different or unusual solutions when appropriate.
- Resolve day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation. Escalate issues that impact the client and/or strategic initiatives.
