Application for AI Postdoctoral Research Fellow - AI for Accelerating Invention
Princeton University is seeking to hire AI Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join the AI for Accelerating Invention (AI^2) research initiative associated with the recently-launched Princeton AI Lab. AI^2. AI Postdoctoral Research Fellows will be a core part of the AI^2 community which seeks to use AI in new interdisciplinary ways and to fundamentally change the process of invention from design, to simulation, to fabrication, to control. Researchers in AI^2 tackle major challenges in science and engineering, such as containing plasma in fusion reactors, revolutionizing material design and structure, novel electronics and bioengineering applications. AI Postdoctoral Research Fellows will have access to the AI Lab GPU cluster (300 H100s). Candidates should have recently received or are about to receive a Ph.D. or doctorate degree and have a strong interest and track record in designing, understanding, or engineering of AI models, or their applications in science and engineering. AI Postdoctoral Research Fellows will be appointed through the Princeton Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence (the AI Lab) and will receive a competitive salary, benefits, office and equipment, compute resources, and yearly research support. Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding.
