The Role
We are seeking a Founding AI Researcher to lead cutting-edge research and development in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As a founding team member, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, influencing the company's technical vision, and creating breakthrough AI systems that address real-world challenges.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of research and product development, bridging the gap between theoretical advancements and impactful applications.
What You'll Do
- Conduct and lead state-of-the-art AI research in areas such as generative AI, deep learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing.
- Design and prototype innovative AI models and algorithms, driving advancements in scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into production-ready solutions.
- Publish and present research findings in leading conferences and journals to establish the company as a thought leader in the AI space.
- Build and mentor a team of researchers and engineers as the company grows.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements to guide and inform technical and strategic decisions.
About You
- Experience:
- 5+ years of research experience in AI or related fields, with a strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ACL).
- Proven ability to bridge research and real-world applications, ideally with experience in startups or high-growth environments.
- Skills:
- Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI, with hands-on experience using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in statistical modeling, optimization, and algorithm design.
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and extensive experience will also be considered.
