- Location: Wainwright Middle School
- There is one (1) positions available starting the 2023-2024 school year.
- 180 day position that works during the student calendar
- 4 hours per week
- $15.00 (HQ) per hour
Any candidate recommended for hire will be asked to complete an expanded criminal history clearance at their cost (starting at $24.90). Overview: Under the direct supervision of the principal with guidance from the El Coordinator EL Coach, the EL tutor will work with EL students to meet instructional goals and objectives. Essential Job Functions:
- Assists and guides EL students to reinforce and strengthen language acquisition.
- Works with EL students individually and in small groups.
- Assists EL students as needed with organization, advocacy skills and school logistics.
- Follows all applicable safety rules, procedures and regulations governing the proper manner of assistance for all students.

Qualifications:
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of 48 hrs college level coursework or passing of the ParaPro examination
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Ability to supervise K-12 students
- Understanding of education privacy and security issues
