Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Manage and oversee all aspects of air import shipments, from quoting and pickup to final delivery, ensuring timelines are met and customers' expectations are exceeded.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and process all necessary import documentation, including airway bills, invoices, and packing lists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on shipment status, addressing any concerns, and resolving issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Carrier Liaison: Work closely with airlines, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to secure space, negotiate rates, and ensure that shipments are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about the latest international trade regulations and ensure that all shipments comply with customs, import control, and other relevant regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues in the shipping process and implement solutions to avoid delays or additional costs. This includes handling any discrepancies, delays, or customs holds that may occur.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor the progress of shipments, providing detailed tracking updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate records and generate reports as needed.
