Our Augusta, GA MRO facility is not just a place to work; its a hub of innovation and growth. With a significant $33 million expansion underway, were doubling footprint in the coming year. Our facility specializes in Business Aviation, focusing on 22 models of aircraft on the Airframe side while our Engine Shop performs comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs, and performs diagnostics in our state-of-the-art Test Cell.

As an A&P Mechanic at StandardAero in Augusta, GA, working in our Engine Shop you will be responsible for you will perform routine maintenance and major inspections on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs, to include troubleshooting, repair, and modification of engines.

What to expect in this role:

- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on Honeywell engine types and models.

- Disassembly and re-assembly of Honeywell engine types and models.

- Remove and reinstall engines on aircraft for major periodic inspections and core zone inspections.

- Perform incoming and outgoing engine runs and line maintenance, as required.

- Accomplish all aspects of airframe removal and reinstallation, engine inspection and repair on road trips to accommodate customer aircraft.

- Inspects engine in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals.

- Troubleshoot and repair all engines

- Document all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.

- Accomplishes Service Bulletins, Repair Letters and Airworthiness Directive

Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma (OR GED)

- A valid FAA Powerplant certificate required.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of APU experience

- Valid A&P License

- Demonstrated technical ability on specific airframes and engines in the areas of inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs.

- Demonstrated ability to locate and apply FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, Orders, Notices etc.
