Position Overview:

ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an immediate opportunity for an Aircraft Maintenance Management Production/ Logs & Records Technician to support our Contractor Field Team (CFT) at Tyndall AFB, FL. Military personal with Air Force experience as a( 2R1X1) or Marines with a Mos of (6046) are highly encourage to apply.

Description:

The Logs & Records is responsible for the management and sustainment of all aircraft logbooks, aeronautical equipment service records, aircraft maintenance files, records and reports, directives and correspondence in an aircraft maintenance and operations environment. Specific duties may include and are not limited to:

  • Utilizing management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records as required
  • Drafting and submitting aircraft/engine management and Inventory Reporting System reports
  • Preparing weekly, monthly, yearly reports as assigned
  • Processing readiness documents, administering the aircraft configuration status accounting program and verifying aircraft utilization reports
  • Monitoring aircraft configuration status, weight and balance and aircraft inventory data for accuracy
  • Initiating and distributing applicable maintenance forms in accordance with established procedures
  • Complying with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 2 years of aviation clerical experience in maintaining aircraft log books, aeronautical equipment service records and associated logs. Previous experience with US Navy, US Air Force and/or FAA aircraft logbooks and documentation is preferred
  • Ability to meet required scheduling deadlines and maintain necessary work flow
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft log books, maintenance records, applicable maintenance / technical manuals, publications and forms
  • High degree of knowledge in computer operation and keypunch skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction
