To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Records Clerk in our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for accurate and complete computer entries of maintenance actions and for filing all maintenance records. The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and previous experience with aircraft records and aviation terminology. This position reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Records Supervisor.Essential Duties:Responsible for accurate and complete computer entries of maintenance actionsFile all maintenance recordsScan, index, and audit records downloaded into records softwareEnsure the Major Component Auditor receives necessary documentation related to the repair and replacing of any engineMaintain and control issued Identification Stamp in accordance with Company guidelinesJob Qualifications and Competencies:Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent attention to detailPrevious experience with aircraft recordsKnowledge of aviation terminologyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with aircraft records softwareWork Environment:Standard office equipment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipmentAirport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levelsAvailable to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements:Occasional lifting up to 25 poundsFrequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairsThe above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position.
