Our client is looking to hire an Aircraft Rotor Blade Technician Trainee in Broussard, LA for a long-term employment opportunity with one of Aviation's largest manufacturing companies.Responsibilities:Perform repairs on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM requirementsRotor blade repair activities include sanding, cleaning, and blade specific maintenanceShipping and Receiving responsibilities of blades and componentsEmployee's will complete training in Blade Repair and Shipping and ReceivingEducation:High school diploma or or Technical Certification/DiplomaQualifications:Previous experience as a blade tech, or experience working in field such as automotive or aircraft repairEffective communication skills, both verbally and writtenKnowledge of working on computers for documentation of workAttention to detail and follow directions, both written and verbalMaintain good eye-hand coordinationWork well in a team oriented environmentPrior blade repair experience and knowledge of all facets of blade repair preferredPrior aircraft or automotive experience may be a plusPay Rate: $20.00 - 25.00/hr (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)Medical, Dental, Vision benefitsPaid Vacation & Sick Time2nd Shift (Will train on 1st and then move to 2nd)About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
