Aircraft Structures Technician (King Air Focus)Location: Milan, IllinoisContract Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (Potential for Direct Hire)Compensation: $40 - $50/hour + Per Diem (Approx. $100/day)Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to support our team by inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structural systems. This hands-on position will involve working on corporate aircraft, specifically King Airs, with a focus on Raisbeck Crown Wing Lockers. You will support structural repair and modification projects, interpret and read blueprints, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures as outlined in the Quality Control Manual.Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft airframe and structure systems, composites, and components.
- Support structural repair and modification projects on corporate aircraft.
- Interpret and read aircraft blueprints and modification drawings.
- Accept ownership of assigned structural projects and ensure completion according to specifications.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation.
- Ensure the safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working on corporate aircraft structures.
- Experience with Raisbeck Crown Wing lockers on King Airs.
- Must own personal tools.
- A&P License preferred; IA (Inspection Authorization) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
Work Environment:
- Working in a clean and organized hangar environment.
- 1st shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- The contract is for 3-6 months, with the potential for direct hire.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay of $40-$50 per hour, based on experience.
- Per diem approximately $100/day (still being finalized).
