Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry!BECOME AN AIRCRAFT SUPPLY SPECIALIST!Our Aircraft Supply Specialist supports Prime Appearance, a subsidiary of PrimeFlight Aviation. Responsibilities include overseeing the inventory of tools and supplies essential for aircraft operations. This position requires precise record-keeping and inventory tracking to ensure the timely availability and replenishment of items. You will coordinate with various teams to request and receive aircraft supplies, while working within budget limits and following regulatory standards.WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT SUPPLY SPECIALIST:
  • Oversee the inventory of aircraft supplies
  • Coordinate with ordering and restocking of supplies
  • Implement inventory management systems and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards and regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions and inventory changes
  • Stay updated on new aircraft supplies and consumables
  • Clean and disinfect aircraft interiors, to include the cabin, seats, galley, lavatory, leather, carpet, and woodwork
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with aircrews, external customers, and internal departments
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all cleaning services
  • Work under pressure to meet internal and external key performance indicators (KPI) and deadlines
  • Apply cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements in supply management
  • Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
  • Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal - as applicable)
  • Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operationPHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
  • Must be able to push, pull
  • Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
  • Must be able to work at elevated heights
  • Exposure to outdoor elements
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
  • Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces
  • Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
  • Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals
  • Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
  • Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
