We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Multi-Functional Airport Lounge Agentto join our team at JFK International Airport. This role combines several keyresponsibilities, including guest services, janitorial duties (excludingbathrooms), food and beverage prep, and inventory receiving. The idealcandidate will provide exceptional service to travelers, maintain thecleanliness and orderliness of the lounge, and support the smooth operation ofthe buffet and bar area.Benefits Include:Starting Pay of $23.54- $24 per hourKey Responsibilities:Lounge Attendant:· Greet and welcome guests at the front desk with a professional and friendlydemeanor.· Assist travelers with check-ins, lounge access inquiries, and provideinformation on lounge amenities.· Ensure a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.Janitorial Duties:· Regularly wipe down tables and lounge surfaces to maintain a clean andsanitized area.· Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to keep the lounge presentable and welcoming.· Ensure that all trash bins are emptied, and the lounge is tidy throughoutthe day.· Restock supplies as necessary (e.g., napkins, paper towels).Receiving Clerk:· Accept and sign for deliveries, ensuring all items are accurately accountedfor and match the order details.· Store and organize supplies such as food items, beverages, and loungeequipment.· Assist in inventory tracking and report any discrepancies or shortages.Food and Beverage Services:· Assist with buffet setup, ensuring that food items are presentedattractively and replenished as needed.· Handle basic food prep duties (e.g., making sandwiches, salads, or snackitems) in compliance with food safety standards.· Assist with bar services, including pouring drinks, restocking beverages,and maintaining the bar area.· Ensure all food and beverage areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.Buffet & Bar Support:· Maintain buffet and bar areas, ensuring cleanliness and that items areconstantly replenished.· Engage with guests and provide assistance with food and beverage selections.· Assist in maintaining a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere in the lounge.Other Duties as Assigned:· Be prepared to take on additional tasks as directed by lounge management tosupport lounge operations.· Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth daily functions.Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent.· Experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality is preferred.· Ability to multi-task and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Basic knowledge of food safety and handling.· Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs.· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift workas required in an airport environment.Skills & Competencies:· Attention to detail to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment forguests.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Strong organizational skills to manage deliveries and inventory.· Customer-centric attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service.Minimum Essential Functions:Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the timeThe person in this position will be required to move about the kitchen areafrom station to station.Frequently move trays and stacks of dishes, pots, pans weighing up to 50pounds.Work Environment:Work near others.
