To learn more about AJC Logistics, visit our website at Position Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our North America HR Team in Jacksonville, Florida. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for HR functions for our three Jacksonville offices and warehouses facility including an employee base of 60 plus managers and employees. The ideal candidate should be a person looking to complement and leverage their experience in HR for further career growth with a high-energy company with a diverse and open company culture. Your Day-to-Day: You will take ownership and lead the process for the following areas (not limited to): HR Functions

  • Handle on-boarding and off-boarding tasks for employees.
  • Manage employee programs, benefits, wellness, and 401k.
  • Assist the coordination of employee training and events.
  • Create and update HR policies.
  • Miscellaneous projects or tasks as needed.
Employee Relations
  • Provide counsel to employees and managers through any employee relations issues.
  • Advise managers through giving employee feedback and disciplinary issues.
  • Exercise strict confidentiality.
Leadership Development
  • Support employee leadership and development initiatives.
  • Effectively coach managers and their teams.
Talent Acquisition
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to hire for exempt and non-exempt roles following our talent selection process.
  • Help create, update, and manage job descriptions.
  • Support talent selection process including candidate communication, interview coordination, and candidate assessments.

  • Computer literacy and advanced Microsoft Office knowledge specifically in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of previous HR experience is required.
  • 2 to 3 years of employee relations experience is required.
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry or warehouse environment is a plus.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
Language
  • Candidates are required to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish fluently.
