General Security Inc. has a position available for a Security/Fire Alarm technician to join our team in our New Hartford, NY Office.

Summary

As a Security Alarm Technician/Installer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for installing and maintaining various low voltage alarm systems. With core skills in Fire alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Security alarms you will ensure the proper functioning of these systems. Relevant skills in surveillance and remote access software will further enhance your ability to provide top-notch security solutions. Join us in safeguarding our clients' properties and ensuring peace of mind through reliable security measures.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and servicing low voltage alarm systems
• Proficiency in using power tools for installation and maintenance tasks
• Strong Computer skills
• Communciations skills
• Detail Oreinted
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for system installations
• Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and cabling techniques
• Background in alarm system troubleshooting

Candidate must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Work with hand tools and power tools
• Lift up to 40lbs.
• Candidates may be subject to drug test and background check
• Company vehicle for transportation to and from jobsites or office will be provided as well as company cell phone.
