Summary
* This position evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for the rehabilitation of patients, as directed by a provider, using approved treatment procedures. Provides patient/family education. Participates in family conferences. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.
* This position works under the supervision of Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
* Evaluates patients referred by providers.
* Plans a treatment program, using appropriate treatment procedures that will best accomplish the established goals.
* Implements the treatment program using approved procedures.
* Documents treatment procedures and the patient's response to them, on a regular basis.
* Responsible for treatment procedures, documentation, and supervision of occupational therapy assistants, occupational therapy students, and Rehab Aide.
Qualifications
* Graduate of accredited occupational therapy school with Bachelor of Science/ARTS is required.
* Licensed Occupational Therapist in State of Missouri within 60 days. BLS certification required.
