Position Summary
- Provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with all regulatory standards and facility policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse
- Preform Nursing Assistant duties
- Trained in CPR preferred
- Desire to make a commitment to provide direct care to the LTC/ALF resident that is compassionate, patient and understanding
- Positive attitude, good communication skills
- Willing to participate in a team approach to delivering care
- Assists the in implementing of resident activities in compliance with requirements to meet resident needs
- Transports residents to and from Doctor appointments and other appointments.
- Administer and properly document medications under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with all regulatory standards and facility policies and procedures if applicable for position applied
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Certified Nurse Aide
- Valid Missouri Drivers Licenses
- Completion of Med-Level I course as required by the State of Missouri
- Positive attitude, good communication skills
- Willing to participate in a team approach to delivering care
