Alive Kids Ministry Director-Job Description-PURPOSE: The Alive Kids Ministry Director empowers the vision of the church by building,growing, and maintaining the spiritual development of Alive Church Kids and Families bydiscipling children, (ages 1 to 5th grade) parents and dream team members.Experience and Knowledge Required: Minimum of 2 years experience Background in leadership roles and experience ministering to childrenand families. Strong time management and organizational skills Creative and innovative Effective communication skills-verbal/writing articulation Project Management experience Focus and attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1: Kids MinistryDUTY STATEMENT 1: Develop and provide diverse programming and Spiritual Development forAlive Kids (pre-school and elementary) by discipling them to developtheir spiritual and leadership skills,DUTY STATEMENT 2: Recruit, train and lead Alive Kids by having ongoing contact with students,parents, staff, Pastors, volunteers and leaders of Alive Church. Continuing to develop andmaintain all security standards. Collaborating on any special or seasonal events at the church orAlive Kids specific events. Lead and build teams to execute all aspects of children's ministry forweekend and mid-week services. Develop training procedures for nursery, pre-school,elementary and special needs children's volunteers.DUTY STATEMENT 3: Assure Alive Kids activities are both age appropriate and focused onbuilding spiritually mature kids. Develop, research, and provide curriculum which aligns with theAlive Church culture.KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2: Family IntegrationDUTY STATEMENT 1: Assisting parents and children on any areas of concern in their family.DUTY STATEMENT 2: Provide spiritual training support and encouragement for parents.KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3: Personal Growth and DevelopmentDUTY STATEMENT 1: Resource- Develop yourself by reading spiritual and leadershipbooks/material.DUTY STATEMENT 2: Mentorship - reach out and learn from others in your field by continuingeducation participation, events and training opportunities.DUTY STATEMENT 3: Craft - carve out time to develop and stretch yourself creatively.**Manage & Steward Department Budget - Oversee and collaborate with theNext-Gen Pastor to create, manage, monitor and maintain the Alive Kid's budget.Keep track and account for all receipts in the Expensify app.Important InformationDirect Report: Next-Gen PastorLocation: Orlando, Fl Mall CampusHours: (FT)9 am - 5 pm M,T,W,TH8 am - 3 pm SundayStaff Meetings: YesExecutive Meetings: No3 meetings a week (1 person to replace you, 1 person that is not connected yet, 1 personfrom the community)DUTY STATEMENT 2: Provide spiritual training support and encouragement for parents.
