Salary: $27.00/hour
Job Summary:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a member of Coventry's district-wide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Team. RBT's support students and staff under the supervision of a district Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
* Provide a consistent model of trauma-informed ABA practices
* Model professionalism and adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the BACB
* Provide constructive feedback to 1:1 staff supporting individualized student programs
* Work with individual students to reinforce basic skills and check their use of instructional materials under the supervision of the teacher/BCBA
* Model and monitor data collection procedures with a focus on consistency and fidelity
* Collaborate with the teacher/BCBA to complete curriculum-based assessments that guide individualized programming
* Support generalization and maintenance of skills across school environments
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student needs
* Safely supervise students in both instructional and assessment activities in and out of the classroom
* Assist the teacher/BCBA in the development and construction of materials to be used as instructional and reinforcement activities
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED Required
* Registered as a Behavior Technician with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
* Completion of 40 hour RBT Training
* BCBA verified competency checklist
* Application through BACB account
* Take and pass the RBT exam through Pearson Vue
