Job Summary: The Milford Public Schools Family Resource Center located at Pumpkin Delight Elementary School is seeking a part-time support staff member. Our Family Resource Center provides parenting education, playgroups ( infants, toddler, and preschool-age children), home visiting, lending libraries, positive youth development, adult education, resource and referral services, family workshops/events, direct support with transitioning to the school setting, and ensuring all communication platforms associated with the Family Resource Center remain current.

Under the guidance of the Family Resource Center coordinator and the instructional supervisor of Early Childhood Education performs grant requirements, completes all required reports, and meets regularly to analyze programmatic needs and determine next steps.

The successful candidate will:

* Have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or education-related field, Master's degree preferred.

* Have two or more years of experience in the field of early childhood education or public administration.

* Understand the development needs of young children, both academic and social-emotional.

* Display a caring and supportive demeanor when interacting with young children.

* Have strong written and oral communication skills

* Have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with district and school level leadership in support of Milford Public Schools Vision of the Learner

* Have current technological skills ( ex. utilization of Google platform, etc..)

* Be able to maintain confidentiality, as well as consistent, punctual, and regular attendance

* Have successful experience(s) working with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds

Job Specifications: Part-time staff member 22.5 hours per week, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm M-F working the school calendar. Days plus an additional 4-5 weeks (for a total of thirty-nine weeks, working from late August through mid-July)

Compensation range is in the range of $22.00-$24.00/hour.
