Job Description:
The Northwest R-I School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Intervention for the 2025-2026 school year. All applicants must apply through the district website
The Coordinator of Intervention oversees the consolidated intervention programs including the PRIDE Academy, Missouri Options, and MS/HS Alternative to Out of School Suspension programs, as well as third-party mental and behavioral health services. The Coordinator will facilitate the identification and implementation of Tier 3 interventions as part of the district's Multi-Tiered System of Support to design appropriate academic, behavior, and social-emotional supports for students in these programs. The Coordinator will be responsible for all instructional and management systems and processes within the building. The Coordinator will supervise all staff within the programs and offer feedback and support in continued improvement, as outlined in appropriate evaluation criteria. The coordinator will work collaboratively with District administrators to ensure effective school operations.
A qualified candidate will hold a certification in secondary administration.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
* Must have a minimum of a master's degree with a specialist or higher preferred.
* Must have appropriate administrator certification.
* Minimum of three (3) years experience in the classroom with preference provided to candidates with prior administrative experience.
* Such modification of the above qualifications as the Board of Education shall find appropriate.
