Job Description:
Overview JST is currently seeking an Alternate Contract Manager to join our team. This is a full-time Onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. The Alternate Contract Manager shall be professional in demeanor, appearance, and deportment. Employees shall be responsive. They may be required to interface with senior Government and industry officials. Personnel shall have excellent written and oral communications skills sufficient to provide clear concise communication and documentation. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project as well as with Adobe Acrobat. Alternate Contract Manager Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the performance of the work for team on contract
  • Responsible for writing to the CO and COR
  • Full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.
  • Shall be available 0800 - 1630, Central Time Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed for administrative reasons.
  • Exceptional knowledge or understanding in contract management/program management.
  • Exceptional knowledge/understanding of acquisition, procurement and contract administration, and Integrated Acquisition Environment and DoD acquisition policies
  • Manage large sized projects (greater than $100M) with the ability to manage complex organizations in multiple geographic locations.
Alternate Contract Manager Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience in Contract Management
  • Experience in Program management
  • Experience with acquisition, procurement and contract administration,
  • Experience with Integrated Acquisition Environment and DoD acquisition policies
  • Experience managing large sized projects (greater than $100M) with the ability to manage complex organizations in multiple geographic locations.
Required Clearances and Screenings
  • MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
