DEPARTMENT: Rack FabricationJOB TITLE: Rack FabricatorREPORTS TO: Rack Fabrication Team LeaderSHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Fri) 5:00 Am- 1:00 Pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.STARTING PAY: $18.12 per hour.What You Will Be Responsible For:* Follow blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds* Maintain productivity within assigned section(s) of rack building/ repair* Welding booths, drill press, sander, chop saw, rack repair station, vertical saw, and/ or pin assembly station* Work independently and as part of a team.* Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.* Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.* Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).* Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.* Able to participate in a collaborative environment.* Comply with safety policies and procedures.* Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.* Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Work Environment / Physical Demands:* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.* The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
