If you believe strongly in the value of higher education and possess high level administrative skills, check out this exciting contract opportunity to play a key role in the planning and implementation of upcoming 2025 reunion events at a highly regarded academic institution.The Alumni Relations Specialist role will provide administrative support to senior leadership, high level volunteers, and the Board & assist with reunion logistics and implementation. Duties include:Scheduling virtual and in-person meetingsOrganizing the Board's Google drivePreparing digital documentation/meeting agendas/meeting minutesAnswering calls/emails received through the “reunion information” phone line & email accountAssisting alums registering for reunionAssisting with editing and formatting reunion program agendas and materialsSupporting organization of check-in protocol and check-in materials.Greeting/monitoring needs of guests at reunion check-inAdministrative supportKey Requirements:Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyExperience supporting senior leadership highly desirableStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in MS OfficeComfortable with technology and quick to learn new systemsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksAbility to maintain confidentialityFlexibility to adapt to changing demands during the reunion periodTheAlumni Relations Specialist is a 6-month contract opportunity in the Northampton area.Hybrid schedule requirements:Part-time to start (3 days per week in January & February)Full-time transition (5 days per week March – June)Extended hours/overtime required (including evening & weekends) minimally in April and during reunion weeks in May.The pay rate is $24.00-$26.00 per hour.
