We're looking for an enthusiastic Alumni Relations, Scholarships & Special Events Coordinator to join our team at our South Jordan, UT campus!In this vital position, you'll be the driving force behind vibrant alumni engagement across all our colleges and campuses. Your mission will be to design and execute dynamic alumni programs, spearhead annual and endowed scholarship fundraising, and orchestrate special events that champion our university's priorities.You'll work hand-in-hand with our Philanthropy Unit to cultivate and renew alumni contributions, and collaborate with various university departments to ensure seamless tracking and management of funds. Additionally, you'll oversee alumni-related content across multiple communication channels, keeping our community informed and engaged.Reporting to the Vice President for Philanthropy & Alumni Relations, you'll coordinate with Development Directors from each college, aligning strategies and driving us towards our fundraising goals. If you're passionate about connecting with alumni and advancing our mission, this role is your opportunity to make a significant impact!Essential Functions:Serve as the nexus of alumni-related activities; oversees and coordinates the establishment/expansion of alumni programs and activities within each college and campus for the collective, overall university.Work with the Philanthropy unit to oversee the strategy, planning, preparation, and implementation of efforts to secure new or renewed annual alumni giving, primarily for purposes of funding scholarships.Coordinate with the Philanthropy staff to solicit contributions and grants for scholarships.Plan and manage, in collaboration with Philanthropy staff, campus and community volunteers, the annual fundraising events for the University overall or specific to the three campuses.Solicit event sponsors, matching gift donors and participants.Conduct/coordinate post-event follow-up administrative and stewardship activities, including compiling and reporting on participation.Coordinate and monitor alumni-related content on Roseman's website, in print publications, electronic communications and social media. These efforts should be in conjunction with the other Philanthropy staff, as well as with the MarComm unit.Engage current Roseman students strategically with Philanthropy and alumni activities to promote their lifelong connection to Roseman.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in any field preferred or equivalent experienceRaiser's Edge experience required; Proficiency in Raiser's Edge preferred.Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated success in recruiting and managing volunteers.Demonstrated success in planning and managing successful special events for fundraising or other purposes.5+ years of prior comparable career experience and advancement in an academic setting preferred.Why Join Roseman University?At Roseman University, we're passionate about creating a vibrant and supportive community for everyone who walks through our doors.
