We are seeking an Alumni Support Specialist for our customer in Tequesta, FL.
  • Position: Alumni Support Specialist
  • Location: Tequesta, FL
Description of Duties:
  • Demonstrates strong personal and professional boundaries.
  • Establishes supportive, empathetic, and professional relationships with current patients for purposes of post-treatment engagement and support.
  • Attends, facilitates, supports, and organizes alumni events.
  • Adheres to and executes outreach schedule, as set forth by department requirements.
  • Maintains daily accurate documentation of all alumni communications in CRM software.
  • Assists with the reduction of patients aborting treatment early (AMA or ACA).
  • Assists patients in completing alumni paperwork.
  • Facilitates mutual aid support groups (12-step, SMART Recovery, etc.).
  • Provides reporting regarding activities, as set forth by supervisor and/or director.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling to accommodate larger on-site alumni activities.
  • Available on weekends and evenings.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Attends in-service training, when necessary.
  • Attitude demonstrates a positive approach and commitment reflecting professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Maintains HIPAA confidentiality of all patients (past, present, future).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or director.
Education:
  • A bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College/University in a related field is preferred but professional experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in the substance abuse or behavioral health field.
