Hello All,We are in search of a Quality Director who will oversee and coordinate Process and Quality Engineering teams to optimize processes, improve productivity and yield, reduce material nonconformance, and control costs. This role also manages customer support activities, including complaints, RMAs, and technical assistance to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities: -
- Establish departmental goals and action plans focused on quality improvement, productivity optimization, and preventative quality measures.
- Monitor internal and external quality trends, driving continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
- Facilitate investigations into product nonconformance, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Act as the primary contact for customer complaints, RMAs, and technical product support.
- Provide on-site support to resolve critical customer quality issues promptly.
- Collaborate with customers to address product specifications and application challenges.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Production, Production Control, and Sales teams to align and achieve quality objectives.
- Interface with customers to establish and maintain product acceptance criteria and process controls.
- Provide guidance to Quality Engineers in optimizing processes and establishing equipment capabilities.
- Lead team training and development, ensuring professional growth and technical expertise.
- Act as the ISO: 9001 Management Representative, ensuring compliance and maintaining the quality management system.
- Manage compliance with the company's Quality System and all safety regulations within the department.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain the departmental budget, aligning financial goals with quality objectives.
- Promote and maintain a high level of safety performance, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Encourage a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support company goals and initiatives.
Qualifications: -
- Proven experience in quality leadership roles, with strong expertise in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in ISO: 9001 quality management systems and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions, issue resolution, and team leadership.
- Ability to monitor trends, analyze data, and drive measurable improvements.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
