****Position Type:** Non-Management**

**The starting pay rate for this position is **$16.00** per hour.**

Bring your culinary skills and join our team, as a Breakfast Cook, where you can dazzle our guests with your high standards of quality through presentation, preparation and cooking abilities.

**You must have flexible scheduling availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.**

**Job Requirements:**

* Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel

* Ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times

* Receiving food and beverage orders as needed

* Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests

* Preparingand platingall food items on menu

* Usinghot food preparation machines such asovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat up food

* Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops and floors after each service

**Job Qualifications:**

* Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items

* Highly motivatedteam player with strong initiative and desire for achievement

* Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary

* Ability to work well in stressful situations

* Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment

Samantha Fisher Chief Investment Officer Ms. Fisher is a seventeen-year veteran of the hospitality investment sales industry, Fisher has overseen more than $10 billion in hotel real estate transactions, including several high-profile deals in the Southern California region. Fisher joined Island Hospitality Management in 2020 after serving as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Hodges Ward Elliott, one of the fastest growing private real estate advisory platforms around the globe. Prior to her role at Hodges Ward Elliot, Samantha served in a similar position at Jones Lang LaSalle, a Chicago-based commercial real estate services company that provides investment management services worldwide. Tonya Moore Senior Vice President of Human Resources Ms. Moore brings more than 20 years of industry experience to oversee Island Hospitality Management's strategy for talent recruiting, team member compensation and benefits, and the development and implementation of internal training, leadership and mentorship programs. In her most recent role as Vice President, Associate General Counsel - Compensation, Benefits and Mandated Leaves at Darden Restaurants, Moore served as lead attorney for the employee benefits and compensation practice group where she counseled business partners and provided business-oriented solutions to legal issues while maintaining legal and fiduciary compliance, among other responsibilities. Prior to Darden Restaurants, Moore worked for AON Hewitt and Orbitz Worldwide, where she managed and advised on all aspects of human resources law and policies relating to employment and benefits. Her career also includes several years at McDermott Will & Emery, LLP as a Senior Associate where she advised clients of new changing laws, regulations, policies and benefit plans.
