Job Description:We are seeking a temporary Ambulance Claim Preparer to review and validate claims, make outbound calls and submit payment recommendations to claims adjusters. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Review claims intake and make outbound calls (goal of 80+ daily).
- Validate and assess information on claims received ensuringthere is no missing or incomplete data.
- Submit payment recommendationsto claims adjusters.
Requirements:
- 2 + years medical claims processing experience
- High school diploma required; some college (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret EOB statements
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Professionalism in all interactions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
