The Ambulatory Care Coordinator key job duties:
- Cross checking information in EMR and insurance plan databases to eliminate clinical gaps that are actually complete.
- Design PowerPoint presentations for departmental meetings
- Run reports in EMR and create graphs and presentations
- Enter payroll data and reconcile employee timecards
- Help with NCQA reporting, audits and submission.
- Reviewing Physician schedules ensuring all templates are up to date.
- Manage Day to day operations in clinic settings
- Ensure communication between staff and Physicians is fluid and effective
- Organize daily huddles
- Developing unit goals and monitoring progress.
Education Required- AS degree BS degree preferred.License(s) Required-N/AExperience/Skills Required- Active experience in a health care setting.Minimum five (2) years experience in progressive leadership roles.Knowledgeable in the day-to-day operations in clinic settings.Excellent communication, problem solving and writing skills.Computer knowledgeable, proficient in Microsoft applications.Ability to work with all levels of staff, including administration, physicians, nurses and clerical.
