This position is instrumental in transforming clinical practices within our healthcare system by developing and implementing strategies, standardized workflows, and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, optimizing clinical processes, and improving healthcare quality and outcomes.Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive assessments of existing practices to identify areas for improvement
  • Work in collaboration with the senior director of outpatient nursing and other identified stakeholders to develop and implement key initiates
  • Analyze data, clinical outcomes, and clinical workflows to determine efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement evidenced based clinical guidelines and clinical pathways based on current best practice. Identify and implement standardized workflows
  • Acts as a key resource in supporting the providers and staff during the transition to new clinical practices and processes
  • Provides guidance and support to new practices joining the system
  • Work in collaboration with and under the direction of the SDON, to develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
  • Act as the primary preceptor for all new clinical staff and leads clinical orientation for new clinical staff
  • Collaborates with operational leadership (including Outpatient Director of Nursing and Chief Medical Officer) and Information Technology to assess systems utilization and make recommendations for improvement and/or following best practices.
  • Maintains PI Project Dashboard across CMA to ensure all improvements are captured and aligned with CHS's Mission and CMA's Strategic Plan.
  • Routinely rounds on practices/clinics while completing risk or practice assessments that will lend itself to future improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise in regulatory change.
  • Work collaboratively with CMA leadership, management and all staff levels to ensure the operational and strategic success of all practices/clinics.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of ambulatory care, acute or critical care, or a combination of both
  • BSN required
  • Electronic Medical Record Superuser
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Master's in Healthcare administration, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Epic
  • Experience working with Quality, Data, Performance Improvement, Customer Relations programs highly desirable.
  • Green belt lean six sigma
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift 20 pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring patients may involve lifting of up to 50 or more pounds. Ability to stand for long periods.

Pay Range Disclosure:
  • $80,000 to $100,000 per year
