The QA Nurse partners with operational and clinical leaders to develop and ensure continued quality and accreditation-focused environments and practices, focusing on delivery of safe patient care.The QA Nurse works with other quality and clinical support staff to ensure standardized processes are maintained that promote health prevention measures and care gap closure, improving the health outcomes of our patients. The QA nurse works to coordinate performance improvement activities to align with relevant quality initiatives and system identified priorities.Responsibilities:EDUCATIONBachelors of Science in Nursing requiredCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) License, NY requiredEXEPRIENCEMinimum of three (3) years of nursing experienceWork experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting is preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITYOrganizational and time and task management skillsThe ability to work with individual's at all organizational levels; physicians, clinical support staff, patients, and aligned community partnersSkill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision makingAbility to effectively communicate in a professional manner with physicians, administrators, patients, and associatesAbility to function effectively within a teamAbility to create an atmosphere which encourages motivation, innovation, and high performanceSelf-directed with a positive attitudeAbility to promote and maintain quality care through analysisWORKING CONDITIONS:Frequent travel between sitesENVIRONMENTNormal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobsREQNUMBER: 27859
