Job Title: American Sign Language Interpreter
Location: Bremerton, WA
Duties: - Provide sign language interpreter services to facilitate communication for command Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees and functions.
- Interpret any conversation, meeting, training session, interview, or other requested event, including providing oral interpreting to employees who do not use sign language.
Qualifications: - Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, with a deep understanding of the grammatical structures and nuances of both languages.
- Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in ASL Interpreting, Deaf Studies, or a related field. Alternatively, hold relevant certifications or credentials from recognized interpreting programs.
