- Scheduling:

- Manage shift schedules for manufacturing team members to meet production requirements and operational goals.
- Adjust and revise schedules based on production needs, team member availability, and skill level.
- Provide labor position and count forecasts up to 4 weeks in advance
- Optimal balancing of labor hours from 40-45 hours per week to sustain the weekly drop schedule.
- Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
- Determine optimal balance of temporary staff support of operational requirements.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts and discrepancies in a timely manner and communicate schedule changes and updates effectively to all relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and time-off requests using HRIS/IT systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and issues from employees and management.
- Assist employees with schedule-related issues and support them in understanding shift requirements and policies.
- IT Integration and Data Management:

- Understand and utilize scheduling software and other IT tools to streamline scheduling processes.
- Customize and optimize scheduling systems to fit the specific needs of the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scheduling software and IT infrastructure.
- Prepare and distribute reports on workforce scheduling, attendance, and labor costs.
- Analyze scheduling data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement, forecast staffing needs, and optimize workforce allocation.
- Provide technical support and training to team members regarding scheduling systems and tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Kronos, ADP, or similar) and IT systems management.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement IT solutions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain professionalism in a high stress environment
- Desire to take ownership of the scheduling process and dedication to make continuous improvements
