Salary range: An annual salary range of $175,000 to $200,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience. What You'll Do: We are looking for talented AML Technology Developers/Data Scientists to support the design and tuning of transaction monitoring scenarios. In this role, you will work alongside the AML Technology Manager to enhance the organization's ability to detect and prevent financial crimes, utilizing the latest in data science and compliance technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and tuning of transaction monitoring scenarios for AML compliance.
- Utilize data science techniques to analyze and improve the efficiency of AML transaction monitoring systems.
- Build models to detect suspicious activities and continuously improve transaction monitoring rules.
- Collaborate with the AML Technology Manager and compliance teams to integrate and implement new technologies for financial crime prevention.
- Stay updated on new tools and techniques in financial crime compliance and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide insights into transaction monitoring performance.
What Do You Need? - Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in AML technology or a related field.
- Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, or similar languages) and experience in data modeling and analysis.
- Experience with AML transaction monitoring tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Technology Skills: - Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank's applications.
