We are currently seeking an experienced Ammonia Service Technician to join our client's team. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with air compressors and associated control systems- Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt and efficient repairs- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed Essential job functions: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficient in working with hazardous chemicals, specifically ammonia- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues- Detail-oriented and able to accurately document service and repair activities Skills: - 5+ years of experience working with ammonia in an industrial setting- Knowledge of air compressors and associated control systems- Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for industrial refrigeration systems- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools effectively- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system problems Our client company offers a generous compensation package to their technicians, recognizing the importance of working with hazardous chemicals.
