Analyst, Capital Markets – Private Equity (Entertainment)

The Role:
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Capital Markets team to support the execution of debt and structured finance transactions, including securitizations, subscription lines, and credit facilities. The successful candidate will be involved in managing banking relationships, supporting debt issuance processes, and helping execute complex financing solutions for the firm's investment activities.
What you will do:
- Banking Relationships: Assist in managing relationships with commercial banks, investment banks, and other financial institutions to facilitate debt financing transactions, including preparing financial models, credit analyses and pitch materials for lenders
- Debt Securitizations: Support the execution of securitizations and other structured finance transactions by conducting market research, preparing offering materials, and liaising with external parties (banks, legal teams, rating agencies).
- Subscription Line & Credit Facilities: Help structure and execute subscription lines, credit facilities, and revolving credit arrangements to support the firm's capital needs.
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain financial models to analyze the structure and potential impact of debt facilities and securitizations on the firm's portfolio.
- Transaction Documentation: Prepare credit memos, term sheets, and other transaction-related documentation to support debt financing decisions.
- Portfolio Management: Assist with timelines, documentation and compliance requirements associated with each financing.
- Market Monitoring: Track changes in the debt markets, including interest rate trends and bank lending conditions, to provide insights on potential financing opportunities.
- Due Diligence Support: Assist in the due diligence process for debt-related transactions, including coordinating with legal, tax, and accounting teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets with a focus on debt instruments and financing.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling, debt structuring, and valuation.
- Exposure to securitization, subscription lines, and other forms of structured finance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in debt capital markets or structured finance.
- Interest or experience in the entertainment industry, particularly in financing for music, film, and sports.
