- The role is hybrid (mostly remote) and must be located in the Pittsburgh, PA, or Morgantown, WV area
- The role must be flexible to work outside normal business hours with some occasional evening or weekend availability (during invoicing cycles)
Responsibilities
- Performs professional accounting tasks including but not limited to entering transactions, updating financial records, creating invoices, and vendor setup
- Examining financial documents and transactions to ensure compliance and rectify any discrepancies.
- Create financial data analysis, evaluate financial processing, and interpret accounting reports
- Verify or audit the accuracy of transactions recorded
- Participate in internal and external audits
Job Requirements
- US citizenship
- BA degree in business, finance, or another applicable field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge/experience in purchasing/procurement practices and requirements (preferred)
- Experience in accounting software/ERP and data entry (Costpoint is preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
