    • A Robust Professional Development ProgramTHE OPPORTUNITYGilmartin is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill Investor Relations Analyst positions. Successful candidates will work closely with senior Gilmartin executives to manage client engagements, build, and execute investor relations programs focusing on strategic advice and tactical execution, track sector trends and data, project manage initial public offerings (IPOs) and other capital markets related activities, and create internal best practice materials.Analysts will participate in a training program to gain knowledge of capital markets, financial analysis, investor relations fundamentals, and the healthcare sector. Concurrent with the training period, Analysts will take their FINRA Licensing Exams: SIE, Series 82, and Series 63.Gilmartin is committed to professional development and fostering a culture of collaboration and meritocracy.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Prepare reports for clients detailing analyst models and institutional shareholder base
      • Track and report on client and competitor/peer business developments and financial results
      • Collect and analyze sell side estimates and maintain consensus model
      • Support senior company executives in preparation for client quarterly earnings calls, including logistics, drafting earnings releases, and management Q&A preparation
      • Manage client IR calendars, including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other major events
      • Participate in client meetings and calls
      • Assist with the preparation of presentation materials
      • Review and recommend content and updates for IR website
      • Database maintenance and entryEXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
        • BA/BS degree; Finance, Economics, Biology, pre-med preferred
        • Internship within finance or investor relations preferred
        • Strong analytical and writing skills
        • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
        • Keen interest in equity markets and/or healthcare
        • Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication
        • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPointSOFT SKILLS
          • High ethical and professional standards
          • Excellent cross-functional collaborator who inspires confidence and trust
          • Proactive, self-starter who takes initiative, can move adeptly in a fast-paced environment and works well with little supervision while making judgment calls under pressure
          • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task efficiently
