STS Systems Defense, LLC (SSD) is seeking an experienced, technically proficient, Management Analysts (Journeyman) to support the production operations for depot maintenance for the Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) at Hill Air Force Base.

Responsibilities:

  • Use, create, refine, process and/or provide data to reach goals and objectives on identified projects that integrate organization and enterprise level management objectives.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods within the scope of the respective project and reporting of results.
  • Provide Monthly Status Report to the Contracting Officer's Representative and suggest optimal reporting methods which provide desired/required data.
  • Perform routine, procedural tasks that support management, workloads, and program analytical work
  • Assist the Government with identifying resources required, for Government concurrence, to support various levels of program operations
  • Prepare detailed plans, methods, procedures, benchmarking and/or studies for work processes and functions that are interrelated to improve efficiency
  • Analyze and identify non-standard or emerging operational requirements, correctly assessing impact on overall management or production support.
  • A nalyze problems created by the incompatibility of future programs and identify appropriate corrective action
  • Research and analyze complex and unique logistics policy problems, identify causative factors and corrective actions to minimize system impact.
  • Use Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) system and various sources to research, compile, and analyze available data and select the information appropriate to the assigned task ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assess impact of proposed or actual changes in technical requirements, documentation, training, and schedules.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations on industry best practices and applications to best report analysis results.
  • Monitor on-time delivery of high unit, high hour, and/or revenue misses using Government-provided systems including, but not limited to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) application.
  • Investigate flow days for high drivers, monitor progress, and perform root cause analyses, as necessary. Provide analyses identifying long-lead components, and including process flows, process improvement, tracking, daily reports, and projected completion dates.
  • Provide the Government with the enhanced capability to perform analyses to develop future-state goals, objectives, and production targets focused on strategic objectives.
  • Conduct Capacity Analyses which include personnel and machine constraints.
  • Load non-touch labor into Maintenance Business System Modernization (MABSM)/Impresa tied to time-in tanks/ovens.
  • Conduct material supportability analyses, including the identification of future constraints, on a weekly basis.
  • Plan set-up analyses including work control documents (WCDs). Identify optimal routing setups and streamlined shop floor processes.
  • Provide quarterly on-time standards, probable failure, and occurrence factor issue reports.
  • Conduct weekly scheduling analyses: on work order (OWO) and optimal work-in-progress (WIP) levels needed in production facilities.
  • Schedule, attend, and lead meetings to discuss workload requirements as required.
  • Maintain the master schedule, including cost, schedule issues, asset movement, past parts procurement in support of Depot activations, providing weekly project status updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Management Analyst or Technical Writer.
  • 3-5 years of experience utilizing MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) systems such as IMPRESA.
  • Experience using SQL is a plus.
