YOUR CHALLENGE
Under the supervision of the Manager - Operational Accounting US, the holder of this position will perform the complete accounting cycle tasks for various companies.
* Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end files according to the group's procedures, standards, and internal control rules;
* Provide support to the Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements;
* Participate in the production of the budget for the entities under their charge;
* Ensure the reliability of data by meeting the deadlines set by the group and highlighting discrepancies;
* Collaborate in optimizing methods, tools, and processes;
* Work closely with the team to ensure interventions align with business objectives;
* Collaborate closely with all departments;
* Perform all related accounting tasks.
YOUR SKILLS
* Hold active CPA license;
* 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (public accounting experience is an asset);
* Experience in financial statement preparation and analytical review of reporting produced (essential)
* Ability to translate financial results to digestible summaries for stakeholders (essential)
* Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards (complex topics);
* Experience in business acquisitions (an asset);
* Knowledge of the Office suite (essential);
* Knowledge of SAP and Longview (an asset);
* Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to advance complex files;
* A good team spirit with strong analytical skills;
* Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
* Respect for objectives and deadlines.
