Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Analyst, Operations Planning reports to the Manager, Operations Planning and is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of programs and initiatives that support Cheniere's operating assets. The Analyst, Operations Planning will understand hydrocarbon processing and will be responsible for tracking and reporting progress on a variety of operations and associated business activities as they relate to governance, operational and financial performance, strategic planning, and organizational alignment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Support accurate and timely delivery of various Operations reporting as required by the business.
  • Assist in the development of the annual Operations OPEX and CAPEX budgets, and five-year business plans for each operating asset, ensuring coordination, data alignment and consistency.
  • Conduct a wide variety of ad hoc analyses to support senior management decision making.
  • Support development of business processes and procedures governing the operational and financial performance of Cheniere assets.
  • Provide support to business deliverables outside of the Operations organization such as Commercial Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Finance, Business Planning and Supply Chain as requested.
  • Support collation, analysis, and preparation of reports for Independent Engineers, Lenders, and Insurance.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of presentations and reports for Executive Leadership and Board Members.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize analytical and reporting efforts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement processes and tools to automate report creation and improve data analysis.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSThe Analyst, Operations Planning should have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, think critically, and work successfully with a broad range of stakeholders. The Analyst, Operations Planning should have a general understanding of operations within LNG, refining, petrochemical or similar industry and a working knowledge of financial analyses, budget management, business planning, and process improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other appropriate business function.
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant business or industry experience. LNG experience is a plus.

  • Job is primarily performed in an office environment.
  • Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
  • Some limited domestic travel required to our operating sites, as business conditions dictate.
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
